The warm reception made me feel right at home, and it didn't hurt that the location was just a minute away from both the tram station and the souk-perfect for someone's food-loving soul like mine! The breakfast was a delightful spread, offering both continental and Asian options, which really fueled my day of exploring. Sure, the room was on the smaller side, but honestly, it was more than enough for a single traveler-especially with that reliable air conditioning and a flat-screen TV for downtime. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help out when a minor door issue arose; it's those little moments of service that truly elevate your stay. If you're visiting for work, Merdan is a solid value, blending comfort with convenience that any traveler could appreciate. All in all, a lovely stay that felt like a cozy retreat amidst the bustling city!
